Elopements / Adventure Weddings
PRICE and INFORMATION guide

Welcome!

Whether you want something for the two of you, a cabin for 15 of your closest people by the Shenandoah River, in the Blue Ridge Mountains, or on your front porch. I got you.

More than just your photographer :

I’m your location pro, hype-woman, and adventure buddy.

With lists of local vendors, ideas for ceremony spots, and timeline planning, I’m happy to help make everything as easy for you as possible.

No stress, just fun.

Hello, I’m Gabrielle.

 I am a story teller.

Humor & stories are my love languages.

Rainy days are my sunny days.

Wind is always preferred.

I’ve been an adventurer, day-dreamer, and a hopeless romantic all my life.

I grew up on a farm in the Shenandoah Valley, the youngest of a crazy & loving family. We celebrated our wedding on the same farm, a wild backyard reception with dancing that lasted until dawn.

For the last 10 years, wedding photography has given me the opportunity to enjoy all of my favorite things in life – adventure in the mountains, romance in every season, watching dreams come true, and wild dance parties.

Whatever you’d like your wedding to look like, it should be an unforgettable, stress-free experience. When you step in front of my camera I will jump, squeal and dance with excitement because I truly love what I do. I’ll also take a step back while you *truly* enjoy your wedding day, watching as the sun dips below the horizon. I’ll capture the epic, artistic shots as well as all of the best candid moments.

I’m here to let you be every bit of yourselves together.

What is an Adventure Wedding?

It should be an unforgettable experience that will fill you with excitement all day long, and leave you with absolutely incredible memories for life.

Not thinking of a hike on your wedding day, but still want the views? I'd love to help find the perfect spot that's easy to get to for you or any guests you're having.

Whatever feels like pure *joy* to you for your wedding day, that's an adventure wedding.

"She is the kindest soul and the easiest person to work with. Both my husband and I can be pretty awkward in photos and somehow she took the most breathtaking amazing pics of us. She made us feel so comfortable, it was as if she had been one of our friends for years.

When I saw the pictures she took of our wedding, I realized she did not just capture the scenery and the motions of the day, but rather, she captured the essence of our wedding, our emotions in each moment, and she captured our love story as if she had known us our whole relationship.

Did I mention she was easy to work with? I had a traditional wedding planned back our home area of VA but we moved to Washington and I canceled that wedding. She came out to the PNW and hiked a total of 8 miles after waking up at 3am to capture it all with us! WHAT A CHAMP."

 Frequently Asked Questions

Are taxes included?

Yes! I include the cost of taxes into every booking, so there is no additional add-on.

When are costs due?

The first retainer of 25% is due when you sign your contract. We can set up a payment plan if you’re interested, but final payment is due 1 month before your elopement day. For just a 3 hour elopement booking, this is $950.

Are digitals included?

Yes! Edited jpegs in color and black and white are included in your cost. I don’t have any cap or limit to how many you get! It’s a gallery full of the best of the best.

Can we have the photos re-edited?

Once you receive the full gallery, there are no re-edits. I edit all photos to look more artistic, which changes the colors and tones in the photos. The editing is inspired by paintings (Baroque, Renaissance, and Impressionism) and the tones are typically darker. I understand this isn’t everyone’s favorite style, so I am happy to recommend other photographers to book if you’d prefer different editing.

Do you photoshop photos or use AI?

The only photoshop/AI I use for photos is to remove anything that might be distracting (graffiti on rocks, other people in the background) or any small blemishes that are not permanent (acne, etc.) but I will not use photoshop or AI to change the size of the client or remove wrinkles. If you’d like further photoshop to your photos after they are delivered, you can send them to another company that specializes in this work.

How do you pose?

I like to do a mix of posing and documentary - some people like a lot of direction and a lot of posing while others only need a small mix. I’m happy to help as much as you’re comfortable with! Most of my posing is more like suggestions : “wrap your arms around each other and check out that view.” “can one of you lead the other through this field right here?” That way you feel like you’re getting help with posing but it’s still natural!

What if we feel super awkward about being in front of the camera?

Seriously every single person I’ve photographed has been nervous/felt awkward. So all those beautiful people you see on my site are just normal people, not professional models! I try my best to help you relax and feel natural and have fun during your shoot. I tend to goof off a lot, and I won’t put any pressure on you to feel like you need to perform for the camera. I also try to find secluded spots if you don’t want to pose in front of strangers. Feel free to let me know what you’re nervous about so that I can make it an awesome experience for you.

Will you help with a timeline?

Absolutely! If you need help coming up with a timeline from scratch or just want me to look over one that you already have in mind.

What does your planning include? Will you book vendors for us?

My planning includes helping find locations where you can have your ceremony/photo shoot, sending suggestions of vendors, helping with a timeline, etc. It does not include booking or reaching out to vendors, and it does not include applying for permits.

What if you can't make it?

If I can’t make it on your wedding day for some insane reason, I’ll make sure another photographer is there for me instead and I’ll still be the one to edit the photos.

What about canceling/rescheduling?

If you decide to cancel, the retainer you paid is non-refundable but you can transfer it. That means you can use it for another date or give it to a friend/family member. If you decide to reschedule, please stay in touch with me so we can find a new date that works for both of us - if you reschedule to another date that I have already booked, you do not receive your retainer back.

What if it's raining?

Rain is one of my favorite things in the world! I’ve photographed in all sorts of rain many a time. I always keep umbrellas in my car for you or for your guests, I also have warm blankets in my car too. If the rain is too much we can find another spot that’s covered (either by trees or by a building) or, if time/scheduling permits, we can move to a different time of day or another day.

What if we don't want help with planning?

That is fine if you decide you just want me to be there for photos, but there is no discount if you decide you don't need help with brainstorming, ideas for the best time of day, or help with your timeline.

Do you offer discounts?

Nope. Prices are firm.

How To Book

THANK YOU! I'm unbelievably excited and honored that you'd like to book me in as your wedding photographer.
Let's get the party started!

Select your date —

use this calendar to select your date

Once you tell me your date —

I’ll send over a proposal where you can select your hours (you can always add on more later if you’d like) as well as if you want to add on film-photography or an engagement session. From there you go right into signing the contract and an invoice for your non-refundable 25% retainer.

This will officially hold your spot. From there we can set up an automatic payment plan in whatever form works best for you. I look forward to meeting you so soon!
