July Intimate Wedding in Worlds End State Park | Small Backyard Reception

When Mandy first inquired with me, it was back in August of 2018. Mandy & Scott were already together for 10 years then, and wanted to get married in 2019. We met up and explored Shenandoah National Park together, looking for a beautiful spot for them to have their ceremony. Plans unexpectedly changed when they found out they were pregnant with their beautiful baby girl. With these changes, we had postponed things to 2020. Unfortunately we had hit another roadblock, hello pandemic! So through two postponements and a few wedding changes we finally were able to have their wedding in 2021.

They had their beautiful ceremony in the woods at Worlds End State Park in Pennsylvania. Their friends and family surrounded them overlooking a gorgeous view of the river below. It was such a beautiful ceremony and everyone, including me, was shedding a few tears. After the ceremony, their guests went back for the reception while we explored. Mandy and Scott even took a dip in the river that was the backdrop for their ceremony!

For the reception, since their original wedding plans had changed, they were able to host more people and have a beautiful backyard reception. They had kids running around having a blast, a beautiful set up under the tent, delicious food and yummy drinks. It seriously was such a blast and unforgettable!

After staying in touch with Mandy and Scott over the years, location scouting, keeping up with updates and making numerous changes, they truly became such wonderful friends. They were sweet enough to invite Johnny and Beatrice along on the adventure as well, and we had a blast exploring a new part of the country. I’m excited for our babies to meet up again one day and to play together.
